2025 1/4 oz Canadian Gold Maple Leaf Coin (BU)

Canadian Gold Maple Leafs are available from the Royal Canadian Mint in a variety of weights. This program started with only a 1 oz gold coin available, but over time has grown to include several fractional-ounce coins. Within that fractional-ounce lineup, the 1/4 oz Gold Maple Leaf was one of the first coins introduced with its 1982 debut in the series. All 2025 1/4 oz Canadian Gold Maple Leaf Coins offered here come in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. Individual coins are in sealed plastic, with multiples of 20 coins sealed in a plastic sheet. The Gold Maple Leaf debuted in 1979 with 1 oz gold. The first expansion came in November 1982 when 1/4 oz and 1/10 oz Gold Maple Leafs joined the series.

On the obverse of 2025 Canadian Gold Maple Leafs, you will find the new portrait of King Charles III. Designed in 2024 by Canadian artist Steven Rosati, this bust of Charles III shows the monarch in left-profile relief without a crown on his head. Charles III is the only monarch, to date, other than Elizabeth II to feature on the coins in this series.

The reverse side of the 2025 1/4 oz Gold Maple Leaf Coin comes with an iconic image of the sugar maple leaf. Designed in 1979 by Walter Ott, this visual of a maple leaf captures the real-life details of the leaf and has been used on all coins in the series since 1979.
