The series primarily includes 1 oz and fractional-ounce gold coins. Now, 2025 1/2 oz British Gold Britannia Coins are available online from ITM Trading.

Over the 20th century, as the British Empire transitioned into the Commonwealth, Britannia’s symbolism evolved. She shifted from representing Britain’s global power to emphasizing the nation’s cultural heritage and historical identity.
These 2025 1/2 oz British Gold Britannia Coins are available individually in protective plastic flips. Multiples are packaged in sealed sheets of 20 coins. All coins are in Brilliant Uncirculated condition and include four enhanced security features: a wave-textured background, a latent security element, micro-text around the design, and tincture lines on the Union Jack.
The obverse of the 2025 coins displays the first-generation portrait of King Charles III. Designed by Martin Jennings in late 2022, this left-profile effigy debuted on bullion in 2023 and shows His Majesty without a crown.
On the reverse, Britannia is depicted standing on a coastal scene, holding a trident in one hand and an olive branch resting on a Union Jack shield in the other. She wears a Corinthian helmet, continuing the series’ iconic imagery.
