The American Silver Eagle was redesigned for the first time in its program history in 2021. This update affected only the reverse design. While the bald eagle remains the centerpiece, the new design presents a more naturalistic view of the national symbol rather than a traditional emblematic style.
All 2025 1 oz American Silver Eagle Coins are offered in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. Individual coins arrive in protective plastic flips. Multiples of 20 are packaged in a plastic tube, and multiples of 500 are delivered in a green Monster Box containing 25 tubes of 20 coins each.
The obverse of 2025 American Silver Eagles showcases Adolph A. Weinman’s classic Walking Liberty design. Originally created in 1916 for the Half Dollar, this left-profile, full-length figure of Liberty strides toward the horizon with her right hand extended and her left hand holding oak and laurel branches, draped in the American flag.
The reverse of the 2025 1 oz Silver Eagle features a depiction of the American bald eagle, designed by Emily Damstra in 2020 and first issued in July 2021. The eagle appears in left-profile relief, swooping downward with wings fully extended and talons clutching an oak branch, creating a lifelike and dynamic image.
