“You might need hard assets to buy groceries,” says market expert Todd “Bubba” Horwitz, founder of BubbaTrading.com. He warns that political uncertainty from the U.S. presidential election could drive people to rely on hard assets like gold or silver as alternative currencies. “Whether it’s going to be a revolution or another civil war that are being created here… people better have another form of currency, which would be in the fact of gold and silver.” Horwitz predicts silver will break through $30 and reach $40. Lastly, he criticizes the Fed for “destroying free market price discovery” and argues it should be abolished.
