“This bill doesn’t really have any teeth,” says Ashley Davis, lead principal at West Front Strategies and former senior official for George W. Bush, referring to the U.S. House bill banning the Federal Reserve from issuing a CBDC. She tells our Daniela Cambone that the odds of the bill passing in the Senate are low. Davis also discusses the Hunter Biden trial, which she believes was “weaponized” by Republicans, and comments on Trump’s conviction, saying it is “cheapening our brand.” She concludes, “What’s been sad for the last 10 to 15 years is that our Department of Justice has been politicized.”
