The US treasury market is considered the foundation of the global financial markets with many financial products (bonds, mortgages etc.) based upon the 10-year treasury interest rates.<\/p>\n

Prior to 2008 price volatility barely moved. But the financial crisis changed all that as traditional banking stepped back and traders took over.<\/p>\n
