Surely you have heard the words before, “You can’t eat gold.” Ironically, those words are always spoken by a mouth that can eat gold. Take a moment and let the irony truly sink in. You will know it has when you begin to smile, and yes, be sure to remember that the next time you hear the tired quip.The truth is you can eat gold. You can go out right now and eat gold, and do so exquisitely.

They Say You Can’t Eat Gold. A Pastry Chef And Chocolatier Say Otherwise.

If you have not guessed, this blog article about the act of being able to imbibe gold is a bit tongue in cheek, or golden tongue in golden cheek if you will. The human body is completely capable of eating gold. I can eat gold, you can eat gold, and since gold is soft, old Gramps without teeth can have gold too. But you, me and Gramps cannot digest gold.

Pure gold, and by the way if you are going to imbibe gold, eat pure gold, it is non reactive. Pure gold does not like to combine with other elements, does not often chemically react, and cannot be broken down into simpler components. Hence, the human body does not digest gold, and gold does not seem to interfere with normal human digestion.
