My good friend, Gerald Celente, asked me to join him in his fight for freedom appropriately on the Fourth of July. As it happens, (in case you didn’t know), the event took place in my hometown, Kingston New York. This was an incredible experience for me personally, on many different levels, but to hold a Freedom Rally at the “Four Corners”, the only place in the US where every building is pre-revolutionary war and even, as some believe, the revolution was kicked off when the British burned much of Kingston structures to the ground. But these four structures withstood the assault and still stand strong and proud today.

Will you too survive the attack on your freedoms and be a model for your children and the future? Do you see the threat to your every choice? As Mayer Rothschild said many years ago “Give me control of a nation’s money and I care not who makes her laws”.

In 1971, then President Nixon “closed the gold window” meaning, he handed over full control of our money to private central bankers. Their two key tools (of course they are bankers) were debt and interest rates. With debt at nosebleed levels and nominal interest rates anchored near zero, central bankers are out of tools and are “nudging” us to a new digital monetary system.

First and foremost, the importance of the Freedom Rally should be blazingly clear to all as we watch our freedoms being stripped from us one-by-one, slowly, over many years, for our own good and safety. As Benjamin Franklin said, “Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.” Please let me throw in “convenience” there too, since this is how things are generally “sold” to the public.

I believe, in this current fight, there is little room for complacency for the surveillance economy is growing rapidly, as we transition into a new social, economic and financial system. We all have choices to make now, that will impact all our futures. And frankly, the time grows short.

I am not talking about fighting progress that makes life better for the public, but there are those that might use the new technology to enslave us. China is a prime example of technologies use in surveillance and control.

While there are many freedom fronts to fight, my part of the event was talking about money. Thomas Jefferson warned us “If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issuance of their currencies, first by inflation and then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all their prosperity until their children will wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.” And here we are.

As we move into the digital currency era, you need to understand that this is “Programable Money” which means that (as we’ve seen in China’s CBDC tests) the central bankers will have full ability to dictate the CBDC’s value (negative rates), WHERE you can spend it, IF you can spend it and HOW LONG you have to spend it, until it becomes worthless. Additionally, they can track every transaction and all income and then easily impose “lifetime” taxes. All this from a distance, with the push of a button.

If they have their druthers, CBDCs will be the only choice. That is NOT OK with me. We need choices, if only as a way to vote with our purse, so to speak.

Never has holding physical gold (primary currency metal) and silver (secondary currency metal), been more important if you want to have financial freedom and choice. But we must come together and make our voices heard.

This is what the Freedom Rally meant to me and maybe every wonderful person that was there.

John Lewis was one of thirteen original Freedom Riders who fought for civil rights and later, became a US Representative for Georgia’s 5^th congressional district until his death in 2020. He asked back in the early 1960’s and I ask you today “If not us then who? If not now then when?”
